Western Corridor Light Rail Transit Study | Ottawa, Ontario

Client: Delcan Corporation / City of Ottawa

The Western Corridor Light Rail Transit Environmental Assessment examines the connection of Ottawa’s Confederation Line to communities west and south of the city. Fifteen different routes to connect Tunney’s Pasture with Baseline Station were initially proposed.  In the spring of 2013 the preferred route, a variation of one of the original fifteen, was announced by the City of Ottawa.  Our work, in joint venture with grc architects, has included route evaluation and conceptual design of stations with a special focus on illustrating stations, clarifying green space access and exploring mitigation measures in sensitive areas and public spaces.
