Since 2014, McRobie Architects + Interior Designers has participated in Movati Athletic’s expansion from six Ontario clubs to twelve with new locations in Barrhaven, Burlington, Mississauga, Nepean, Richmond Hill and Windsor.

Movati Athletic is a unique all-inclusive fitness club that offers a wide range of programs and services in a spa-like environment. The two-level, 70,000 square foot facilities include amenities such as boutique-style fitness studios, family pool and spa, hot yoga, cycle, cardio, dedicated strength training area and a private, women-only wing that includes a pool, spa, aerobics studio and strength training area.

The most recent expansion, currently under construction and the first for Western Canada, is located in the neighbourhood of Windermere in Edmonton, Alberta and is scheduled to open later in 2021.
